Germany, Denmark, and Hungary signed a letter of intent on Tuesday, June 18, to jointly purchase Skyranger air defense systems.
This was reported by the German Ministry of Defense.
The signing took place in Paris. The air defense systems will be purchased as part of the Sky Shield joint European air defense project.
According to the German Ministry of Defense, the system can be integrated, for example, into Boxer vehicles.
"It is considered the cornerstone of army air defense," the statement said.
