Germany to allocate extra 200 M€ for humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Germany will allocate an additional 200 million euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine on the eve of winter.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.

“We are increasing our humanitarian support. We are adding 200 million euros for winter support. Those homes that do not have heating will be able to provide themselves with heat,” Burbock said.

She added that generators will be provided to provide homes with heat in winter.

In addition, the German Foreign Minister emphasized that the best defense for Ukraine is to strengthen its air defense.

According to her, Germany will join forces as part of an “international air defense initiative.”

Burbock also added that she had discussed cooperation in the production of drones with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
