GUR attacks military facilities in Russia with drones at night
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine used kamikaze drones to attack Russian military facilities in Belgorod, Voronezh, and Lipetsk regions on the night of Monday, June 17.
This was reported by a source in Ukrainian intelligence.
According to the source, the drones attacked the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant and a local tractor plant. These enterprises are used by Russians for military purposes.
On the night of June 17, Russian Telegram channels reported explosions in three regions. The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, said that Russian air defense allegedly shot down four drones over the industrial area of Lipetsk.
At the same time, the Astra Telegram channel reported explosions and smoke over a tractor plant, as well as an attack on the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.
In turn, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that air defense forces had allegedly detected and destroyed two drones in the region.
