Ukraine is a place where the fate of Poland's security is at stake. Therefore, if Russia is not defeated, it will attack again.
This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda, according to Polska Agencja Prasowa.
"Support for Ukraine is obvious. I assume that the Polish authorities, regardless of which political camp they come from, will continue this policy, which is implemented absolutely in the Polish and European interests," the statement reads.
Journalists asked Duda whether the countries on NATO's eastern flank should increase their support for Ukraine so that it can continue to defend itself effectively.
The Polish president emphasized that if Russia is not defeated, it will attack again.
"We have no doubt that today Ukraine is a place where the fate of our security is at stake," he said.-
He also reminded that Poland has already sent more than 300 tanks, over 100 armored vehicles, hundreds of thousands of weapons and ammunition, as well as countless bulletproof vests, helmets, and equipment to Ukraine.
