Before the full-scale Russian invasion, 13 thousand people lived in the community. Now about a thousand citizens remain.

According to Chaus, the locals are reluctant to evacuate. Only four people have left this week.

"The community is constantly under fire. On July 8, as of 18.00, there were no injuries and no deaths as a result of shelling," says Chaus.

There is one pharmacy and five shops in the town. First- and second-level doctors are working. According to the head of the administration, the community is provided with humanitarian aid.
