Italy is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine. This arms shipment should become the seventh one in a row.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, reported by La Repubblica.
"A new arms package is being prepared for Ukraine. This is the seventh delivery of military equipment to Kyiv," the statement said.
The minister announced it during a meeting of Italy's parliamentary security committee.
It was Defense Minister Guido Crosetto who announced the upcoming shipment and detailed the materials that Rome will send to the Ukrainian army for protection against Russian invasion.
However, what exactly will be included in the package is unknown, as Italian officials decided to keep this information secret from the public.
We shall remind you that it was recently reported that Ukraine had already received the SAMP-T long-range antiaircraft missile system, which France and Italy had promised to hand over together.
