This was reported by Reuters. It is noted that Macron made the statement in a telephone conversation.

The French leader also expressed concern about the development of Iran's nuclear program.

At the same time, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United States, and Ukraine claim that the supply of Iranian-made drones to Russia violates the 2015 UN Security Council resolution enshrining the nuclear deal with Iran.

In addition, the White House said that Russia appears to be deepening its defense cooperation with Iran and has received hundreds of unilateral combat drones that it is using to strike Ukraine.
