Missile attack on Kyiv: air defense destroyed over 30 air targets

Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv tonight, June 2. Air defense forces reportedly destroyed more than 30 enemy air targets.

This is reported with reference to the Telegram of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"The missiles were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea, probably with X-101/555 cruise missiles. Simultaneously, from different directions, Kyiv was attacked by UAVs, according to preliminary data, with loitering munitions," the Administration said in the statement.

According to preliminary information, more than 30 air targets of various types were detected and destroyed in the airspace over and around Kyiv by air defense forces and means. There is no information on damage or casualties.
