NATO member states have decided not to change the deployment of forces near the border with Belarus due to the increased activity of the Wagner PMC on its territory.
This was stated by the representative of the US Department of Defense, General Patrick Ryder, RBC-Ukraine reports citing his video briefing.
"At this time, I have no reports of any new changes in the NATO force posture," the US Defense Department spokesman said.
At the same time, given the developments around Poland's border with Belarus, Ryder emphasized that the United States will continue to take the security of all NATO members "very seriously."
"And we will continue to work with our allies to ensure that every square inch of NATO territory is secure," Ryder emphasized.-
