NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte had his first meeting with Donald Trump after the US election. They discussed global security issues.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the NATO press service.
Trump and Rutte met on Friday, November 22, in Palm Beach, Florida.
According to the NATO press service, they discussed a number of global security challenges facing the Alliance.
The Secretary General and his team also met with members of the newly elected US President's national security team and Congressman Mike Waltz, who may become a White House national security adviser.
This is the first meeting between the NATO Secretary General and Donald Trump since he won the US presidential election.
