This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the telethon.

"As we can see, they are there in shifts. This is the tactic chosen by our enemy: the presence in the Black Sea is directly due to the presence of a submarine there on a permanent basis," he said.

Pletenchuk said that the Russians have four submarines in the Azov-Black Sea region, three of which are Kalibr cruise missile carriers.

"And they are replacing the only submarine that is not a carrier. It turns out that they have a carrier in the sea. And it even launched one of those missiles a few days ago, though to no avail," he said, adding that the missile was fired at Mykolaiv region.
