This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Center of National Resistance (CNR).

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the so-called "Department of Administration" responsible for historical artifacts and cultural sites on the peninsula has issued an order to prepare museum property for export.

In a letter from the "Ministry of Culture" in the occupied Crimea to the heads of museum institutions of the seized Ukrainian peninsula, this is explained by the purpose of "evacuating" the existing values, but the reasons are not specified in the document.

The Center draws attention to the fact that, most likely, the most valuable items are going to be transported from the occupied Crimea to Russia.

It is noted that the corresponding letter, which the Center received, directly refers to the need to clarify the list of "places of evacuation of valuables" in case of disasters or hostilities.

The "administrations" of museums in the occupied territory of Crimea were given until July 1 to respond.

"Another point in the letter indicates that at least some cultural and historical monuments will be taken outside the peninsula," the Center said.

In addition, there is evidence that the occupiers are trying to speed up the process of classifying and evaluating museum artifacts in the occupied Crimea. Thus, museum workers on the peninsula are currently creating electronic registers of works of art and historical monuments, and they are transferring this information to the electronic museum fund of the Russian Federation.

"According to an old Russian tradition, Moscow is preparing to loot Crimean museums and take away the most valuable exhibits when it comes time for Russians to leave Crimea," the Center of National Resistance notes.
