In the Czech Republic, law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into nine people in connection with the Ministry of Defense's contracts for radio network maintenance.
This is reported by České noviny, citing data from the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office in Prague.
The National Center for Combating Organized Crime (NCOZ) is conducting criminal proceedings in this case.
Investigators reportedly searched the Czech General Staff.
"We can confirm that the police are conducting actions related to criminal proceedings at some facilities of the Czech Army," the Czech Ministry of Defense said.
The ministry said that the army and the ministry are providing maximum assistance to the police.
"We cannot provide more detailed information at this time," the ministry added.
