The main risk for Ukraine could be a political crisis due to uncertainty about the outcome of the US election. After all, the ratings of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are now the same.
This was stated by Volodymyr Fesenko, head of the Penta Center for Applied Political Studies, in a commentary for the RBC-Ukraine Youtube channel.
“I believe that it is the political crisis due to the uncertainty of the US election results that may be the main risk for us. Not Trump's victory... There are some concerns about Trump, but the main risk is that a political crisis may arise,” Fesenko said.
According to him, this is due to the fact that today the ratings of Trump and Harris are the same.
“There was a crisis in Georgia, because it is also 50/50 and there is a suspicion of fraud. And we remember that in the US there was already a situation when Trump's supporters stormed the Capitol. There are risks, great risks. This is the worst possible scenario,” the political scientist noted.-
He emphasized that this scenario is primarily negative for the United States itself and a reason for civil war.
