Prime Minister of the Netherlands: Ukraine needs more Patriot systems
Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte believes that Ukraine needs more Patriot air defense systems.
He said this when he arrived at the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova, a correspondent of Yevropeiska Pravda reports.
According to Rutte, the summit will discuss strengthening Ukraine's air defense, including the transfer of new Patriot air defense systems.
"Military support (for Ukraine - Ed.) will be high on the agenda today. F-16s, Patriot systems. Ukraine needs more of them. So we will work to expand the Patriot coalition," the Dutch Prime Minister said.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said upon arrival at the European Political Community summit in Moldova that he would develop a "coalition of fighters" and propose a "Patriot coalition" at the meeting.
The summit of the European Political Community, which will be held at the Mimi winery, will discuss joint efforts for peace in the context of the war in Ukraine and related crises, the protection of democracy, strengthening energy security, and the resilience of European states.
