US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has suggested that China is not participating in the peace summit in Switzerland because the Chinese leadership was asked to do so by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to AP.
"It is obvious that China is not here (at the peace summit in Switzerland - ed.). And I assume that they are not here because Putin asked them not to come, and they have committed to Putin," Sullivan said.
In his opinion, this suggests China's position on Russia's war against Ukraine.
"And I think it says something about China's position on Russia's war in Ukraine. I think countries should pay attention to that," the Biden advisor said.-
