According to Ukrinform, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this in a Telegram message.

The headquarters hosted a meeting with an association of families of servicemen of the 77th separate airmobile brigade, which is part of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event was attended by representatives of the Coordination Center and the Office of the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances.

According to a representative of the headquarters, the Russian side does not provide any official information about the captured servicemen. The only official source is the confirmation of the Russian Ministry of Defense through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"However, there is information obtained from unofficial sources - for example, photo and video materials from open resources, testimonies of those released from captivity - such information is accumulated and used in the work on the release of prisoners," he added.

Ivan Angelin, a representative of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, said that usually the bodies of fallen defenders are returned during exchanges. But there are cases when it is possible to agree on the return without preconditions. He added that Russians return bodies from different directions, but do not specify specific locations.

In addition, during the meeting, the Coordination Center's lawyer provided advice on obtaining documents from the military unit, financial support for the families of missing or captured servicemen, and communication with investigators.
