Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian terrorists have carried out 815 chemical attacks. A quarter of the cases were recorded in January 2024.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Support Command.
"Russia has used chemical attacks 815 times since the beginning of the large-scale invasion. In January 2024 alone, 229 such cases were recorded," the statement said.
It is noted that the enemy most often uses grenades such as K-51, RGR, and RG-VO, which contain the dangerous chemical CS, prohibited by Article 1, paragraph 5, of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
The CBRN intelligence units collect samples and send them for analysis. Documented cases of the use of hazardous chemicals are forwarded to investigative authorities.
