Russia keeps Kalibr carriers in the Black Sea

Russia continues to keep Kalibr cruise missile carriers in the Black Sea. Therefore, the threat of their use against Ukraine still exists.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the morning report of the Ukrainian Navy.

In particular, as of 06:00 on November 20, 6 ships were spotted in the Black Sea. All of them are Kalibr carriers with a total volley of up to 23 missiles.

Meanwhile, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov. However, there are vessels in the Mediterranean Sea. Today, the military spotted 3 Kalibr carriers. Their total volley is up to 24 missiles.

The Navy also added that during the day, in the interests of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was passed:

  • 8 vessels sailed to the Black Sea, 3 of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus;
  • 7 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, 1 of them sailed from the Bosphorus.
“The Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems,” the military added.
