According to the publication, next year Russia plans to spend 13.2 trillion rubles on military spending, or $95.4 billion through 2025. This means that Russia plans to spend 38 billion rubles or almost 275 million in US dollars on the war every day.

At the same time, the Russian budget allocates 11.1 trillion rubles, or about 210 billion rubles per week, for the army and security forces.

At the same time, only 18 out of 83 federal subjects in Russia have budgets that are higher than Russia's weekly spending on the war in Ukraine. Among them are Moscow, St. Petersburg, and their respective regions. Four other regions spend less in a year than Russia spends on the war in Ukraine in one day - 30 billion rubles or $217 million.
