Zelensky held an “energy” meeting
On October 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. They discussed preparing Ukraine's energy system for winter.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the president wrote about it on Telegram.
According to Zelenskyy, the meeting discussed comprehensive winterization. In particular, the president was briefed by Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the Air Force, and regional military administrations.
“All levels of energy infrastructure protection: engineering, electronic warfare and air defense. Our aviation will take an active part. We have also decided to strengthen air defense in the border and frontline regions,” Zelensky wrote.
The President said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs had presented a plan of measures to respond to shelling and promptly repair damage. Work is also underway to create a dispersed network of cogeneration units.
