China is ready to “mutually benefit” from cooperation with Ukraine
China calls Ukraine a friendly country. Beijing assures of its readiness to cooperate with Ukraine in a “mutually beneficial” way.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
It is noted that on October 8, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Ukrainian Ambassador to China Pavlo Riabikin.
“Liu Bin noted that China and Ukraine are traditionally friendly countries. China is ready to cooperate with Ukraine to maintain mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and promote the continuous development of Sino-Ukrainian relations,” the statement said.
Ryabikin, in turn, noted that Ukraine attaches great importance to the development of relations with China. Kyiv assured that it is ready to actively promote cooperation in all areas between the two countries.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the parties also exchanged views on a political solution to the “Ukrainian crisis” (as China calls Russia's war against Ukraine).
