US to provide Israel with anti-missile systems - media
The United States will provide Israel with missile defense systems. They will be used to protect against Iranian ballistic missiles.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Israeli TV channel 12.
According to the TV channel, the air defense batteries will be located in Israel, but they will be serviced by US military personnel. Previously, such cooperation has been practiced between Israel and the United States, according to Channel 12.
The purpose of this cooperation, as explained by the channel, is for Israel, together with the United States, to prepare for a possible Iranian strike in response to Israeli retaliation for the October 1 attack.
The channel did not specify which air defense systems would be involved in the defense of Israel.
