France will hold a conference on nuclear safety next week, - Macron

As part of its commitments, France will hold a conference on nuclear safety. It will be held on October 17.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to French President Emmanuel Macron during a press conference following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“As you know, within the framework of the work started in Switzerland, it was decided to hold several thematic conferences. France, in accordance with its obligations, is organizing a conference on nuclear safety on October 17,” Macron said.

It is worth noting that the conference will be held within the framework of the Global Peace Summit.

The French president also added that the Group of Seven (G7) has already made important decisions to support Ukraine, and next week there will be an important meeting with the European Council.

“It was important for us to discuss the work plan for the coming weeks, both in terms of military cooperation and diplomatic cooperation. We are moving forward in accordance with our agreements,” he said.
