Russia has increased the number of ships in the Black Sea

As of 06:00 on October 15, the Russian Federation increased the number of ships in the Black Sea. In particular, the military spotted 3 vessels, 2 of which are missile carriers with a possible total volley of up to 8 missiles.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the morning report of the Ukrainian Navy.

Today, as in previous days, there are no ships in the Sea of Azov, as in previous days. At the same time, 3 vessels were also spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, 2 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 12 missiles.

According to the Navy, the following vessels sailed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the Russian Federation over the past day

  • 5 vessels sailed to the Black Sea, of which 2 continued to the Bosphorus;
  • 5 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, 1 of which was heading from the Bosphorus.

The military emphasized that Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems.
