Russian occupiers suffered heavy losses near Bakhmut

Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Eastern Military Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced the excellent result of counter-battery artillery fighting in the Bakhmut sector.

Over the past day, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a 203-mm self-propelled artillery system "Pion", two 152-mm self-propelled artillery systems "Hyacinth-S", 152-mm self-propelled artillery systems "Msta-S", four 152-mm cannons "Msta-B", eight 122-mm howitzers "D-30" and two anti-tank guns MT-12 "Rapier" of the invaders. Eighteen units in total, which is a lot!

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on September 26, our defenders destroyed 38 artillery systems of the Russian occupiers along the entire front line, which is also a relatively large number. The result in the Bakhmut sector (one of the eight sectors) is even more fantastic - 47% of the total.

In addition, 115 (more than a company) interventionists were eliminated in the Bakhmut sector yesterday, and three vehicles, two ammunition depots, and an electronic warfare station were destroyed.

Most importantly, the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Bakhmut sector succeeded in an offensive in the area of Klishchiyivka, Odradivka, and Shumy. This was also stated by Ilya Yevlash.

He also confirmed that the Defense Forces are keeping a section of the Bakhmut-Horlivka highway under fire control, striking the enemy with all available weapons and UAVs.
