According to him, the invaders in Vovchansk in the north of Kharkiv region are actively trying to dig in on the border areas.

According to Kovalenko, the enemy's information operation on the alleged capture of Ryzhivka in Sumy region was a complete failure.

"They didn't even try to continue to dangle the topic of an offensive in Sumy region, because their fake was revealed too quickly," he added.

Kovalenko noted that the enemy's plans for the north were thwarted, but the Russians are bringing new reserves there because of significant losses. One of the key factors in this was the permission for Ukraine to strike Russian territory with Western weapons.

"Information-wise, the enemy's 'Northern Operation' has been a significant challenge for the Russians, as they have not achieved results, suffered losses and faced the removal of many air defense systems in the Belgorod region," the head of the Center for Political Analysis said.
