Russian “Shahed” fighter jet flies into Belarusian airspace at night

On the night of September 15-16, a Shahed-type kamikaze drone crossed the border with Belarus in the Gomel region. It stayed in the country's airspace for about 20 minutes, flying over the Polesie Radiation and Ecological Reserve.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the analytical group “Belaruski Gayun”.

According to the analysts, citing a source from Mykolaiv Vanko, the drone entered the Gomel region from Kyiv region around 03:15 am, heading for Khoyniki.

After that, it made several circles in the airspace of Belarus and then returned to Ukraine, continuing to move towards Ivankiv at 03:40.

Reportedly, no aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force were flown overnight to respond to the incident.
