Russian strike on Nova Kakhovka leaves one dead, 12 wounded

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reports that a person was killed and at least 12 wounded in a morning attack by the Russian army on the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka. A criminal investigation has been opened.
This was reported in Telegram by the regional prosecutor's office, Ukrinform reports.
"On September 15, 2023, at about 09:20, the Russian military struck, probably with guided bombs, on the temporarily occupied city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. Preliminarily, one civilian was killed and at least 12 people were injured," the statement said.
Based on the results of monitoring and studying information in the media, under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
