Russians are constantly pulling up reserves in the Melitopol direction

Russian occupiers regularly bring reserves to the Melitopol area to stop the advance of Ukrainian forces. However, enemy equipment is constantly being destroyed, said Colonel Oleksandr Stupun, spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, during a telethon.

According to him, there is no significant increase in the number of enemy troops in the Melitopol sector, but the enemy is constantly reinforcing its reserves. The reason for this is the constant losses of the Russians.

"The enemy continues to dig in deeper into the defense, i.e. reinforces its facilities in engineering terms. Mines are being detected and the Russians are trying to regain the lost positions, i.e. they are sending infantry forward, probing our defense in certain areas," said Stupun.

He explained that the Russians are saving their equipment and throwing infantry into the battle. "Sometimes they cover it with some equipment, but our guys immediately knock it out, so the enemy tries to protect it. But the people do not protect it," added Stupun.
