At first, he said that the enemy had struck the city's infrastructure, causing a power outage in Konotop.

Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, or one of the incidents, Semenikhin said that the enemy had struck a residential building in the city center. There are also casualties.

“We hope that we have managed to get absolutely all the residents out of the building. There are injured, there are wounded, but I hope that there will be no casualties,” said the mayor.

Semenikhin also said that there is a shortage of fire brigades.

“We are currently short of fire brigades. We are using, in particular, the fire trucks that the Poles gave us. We use fire trucks from other cities,” said the mayor of Konotop.
