May 30, 2023

A Russian family in a BMW rammed a barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border: a woman with three children managed to enter the territory of Belarus.

This was reported by the Polish radio station RMF FM.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the border crossing in Terespol on the border of Poland and Belarus.

After 7 a.m., a BMW with Swedish license plates approached the border guards. There were two adults inside: a woman and a man. Both were Russian citizens. They were accompanied by one child with a Russian passport and two children with Swedish passports.

When the Polish border guard collected the passports for inspection, the BMW took off in the direction of Belarus. The car rammed through the barrier and drove through the spikes laid out.

The car stopped in the middle of the border bridge. The woman and her three children managed to cross the border and enter Belarus. The man was detained.

As the radio station's correspondent found out, the two children, who were being transported by the Russian couple, were banned from leaving Sweden.
