Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Kuninori Matsuda - they discussed the continuation of support for Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, Shmyhal announced this on Facebook.
"Japan is working on continuing to support Ukraine. I thanked him personally during a meeting with Ambassador Kuninori Matsuda," the head of government said.
According to him, "during the presidency of the G7, Japan makes maximum efforts for the victory of our country. We highly appreciate the organization of two business missions to Ukraine and assistance in recovery. We are preparing for the recovery conference in Tokyo in 2024."
He reminded that "with the support of the Japanese government, we are launching two more important projects with the World Bank: for the financing of the agricultural sector for 550 million dollars, for the financing of social assistance. In particular, subsidies and payments to IDPs for 1.2 billion dollars".
"We are grateful to the Japanese government and all Japanese people for their constant support of Ukrainians in various fields," Shmyhal emphasized.-
