Ukraine needs better protection now, not later. Ukraine expects to speed up important decisions on the part of the United States.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga before the start of talks with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Brussels.
According to Sybiga, today is an opportunity to coordinate steps after the US presidential election.
“Ukraine has always valued strong bipartisan support. We have maintained contacts with both parties and worked with the newly elected president and his team, as well as with the remaining administration,” the minister said.
Sibiga emphasized that defense cannot be stopped and waited for. Russia is bombing Ukraine's critical infrastructure, energy, ports, hospitals and schools every day.
