Spain sends second batch of Patriot missiles to Ukraine

Spain has handed over to Ukraine the second batch of anti-aircraft missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

According to Yevropeiska Pravda, government sources told EFE, El Mundo reports.

According to the sources, the second batch of missiles from Spain arrived in Ukraine last Friday, June 21, in addition to the first batch, which was delivered in late April.

The missiles for the Patriot are part of an "important delivery" due in June, Defense Minister Margarita Robles said on May 25 during a meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine's defense.
