The Americans have begun to work on ways to circumvent sanctions

The United States has taken active steps to block the channels of circumvention of sanctions restrictions, which is happening gradually on our part, but their efforts are quite effective. This was stated by Pavlo Klimkin, former Foreign Minister of Ukraine (2014-2019), on the air of We Are Ukraine TV channel.

Pavlo Klimkin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2014-2019), noted that the United States has begun to hit the bypass routes through Dubai, as well as Chinese companies. But he would also like to see effective sanctions against the metal trade.

"So far, Russian exports of metals have been largely maintained. It would be ideal to apply the same or similar formulas to metal exports as they have applied to oil. This is more difficult because the Americans and the British almost completely control the market for relevant services, including insurance, but they also control metals," Klimkin said.
