This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) on the social network X.

"Recent claims about a successful Houthi attack on the US Navy aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) are categorically untrue," the report said.

The Command also added that over the past day, the American military successfully destroyed three unmanned surface ships of the Houthis in the Red Sea.

It is noted that these vessels pose a direct threat to the US, coalition forces, and merchant ships in the region. The measures were taken to protect freedom of navigation and ensure greater security in international waters for US, coalition, and merchant vessels.

"In addition, the Iran-backed Houthis launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) from the Houthi-controlled territory of Yemen into the Gulf of Aden. No American, coalition, or merchant ships were hit or sustained significant damage," the report said.

The Pentagon announced that after the exercises in the Pacific Ocean, the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt will follow Dwight D. Eisenhower to the waters of the Middle East.

On Saturday, June 22, fighters from the Yemeni Houthi group said that they had attacked the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea and that the operation had successfully achieved its objectives.

The terrorists also announced a successful missile attack on the commercial ship Transworld Navigator in the Arabian Sea, without specifying when exactly the attack took place.
