The Ministry of Defense signed an agreement on space exploration

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed a memorandum with the Finnish company ICEYE to deepen cooperation in the field of space exploration.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The ministry noted that the agreement with ICEYE is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of remote sensing, which is important for the national security and defense of Ukraine.
"Cooperation with ICEYE and the signing of the memorandum will significantly improve our intelligence activities. We are grateful to the company for its commitment to democratic values, support of the Ukrainian people and its position on restricting space imagery over the territory of Ukraine," said Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko.
ICEYE is a Finnish company and one of the world leaders in satellite technology. The company manufactures microsatellites and owns one of the world's largest constellations of radar satellites.
