The Ministry of Reintegration is initiating the creation of a Unified Register of Kremlin Prisoners. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
"The National Information Bureau is updating the lists of civilian hostages held in Russian captivity and is starting to work on creating a separate register of Kremlin prisoners. We are talking about those citizens of Ukraine - civilian hostages who were deprived of their personal freedom by the occupiers precisely because of their political or social activities," the agency explained.
It is also reported that at least 170 such persons are currently known, although the actual number may be much higher, the Ministry of Reintegration noted. They added that these are primarily Crimean Tatars who have been resisting the occupiers for nine years.
