The Navy told about enemy missile carriers in the Black and Azov Seas

This morning, June 19, four Russian ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles were spotted in the Black and Azov Seas.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military clarified that the total missile salvo of this ship grouping in the Black Sea-Azov region could be 24 missiles.

Thus, according to the Navy, as of 6:30 am on Wednesday, the following were spotted:

  • in the Black Sea - 2 Russian ships, 1 of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 4 missiles;
  • in the Sea of Azov - 8 enemy ships, 2 of which are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 16 missiles;
  • in the Mediterranean Sea - 1 Russian ship, which is a carrier of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 8 missiles.

In addition, the military informed, during the day, in the interests of the aggressor country Russia, the Kerch Strait was passed:

  • 7 vessels sailed to the Black Sea, 5 of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus;
  • 5 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, 2 of them were heading from the Bosphorus.
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems (AIS)," the military added.
