The number of students from Ukraine has increased in Germany

The number of Ukrainian students in Germany has increased by more than 10 thousand since the beginning of 2023.
This is evidenced by the data of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Culture, DW reports.
It is noted that as of the end of the current school year, 213,362 children and young people from Ukraine were studying in German schools.
In December 2022, this figure was 202 thousand.
The majority of Ukrainian schoolchildren were enrolled in North Rhine-Westphalia (40,969), Baden-Württemberg (32,028), and Bavaria (30,618).
In total, about 11 million students attend school in Germany.
