The Pentagon told about the work of the aviation coalition for Ukraine

The United States Department of Defense is committed to working with the countries of the so-called "aviation coalition" to meet Ukraine's needs in this area.
This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing a briefing on June 18.
"We are focused on working with the aviation coalition. This is to determine the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect their population and then fulfill them," he said.
Ryder did not name the exact number of Ukrainian pilots undergoing training. According to him, only the Ukrainian side can provide this information, taking into account all security and planning factors.
Instead, he confirmed that Ukrainian pilots are training to fly F-16s at an air base in Arizona and in Denmark. He added that the training could be expanded to other locations in Europe.
