The Russians are trying to attack Ukraine's gas infrastructure

Russian occupiers are trying to attack Ukraine's gas infrastructure, but the situation is currently stable. This was stated by Deputy Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk on the air of We-Ukraine TV channel.

According to her, during the last attack, the enemy tried to damage Ukraine's gas infrastructure, but its plan failed.

"The enemy is constantly attacking gas infrastructure facilities as well. Unfortunately, today there was also an attempt to attack these facilities. Today, we are also deploying both physical defense and air defense systems to these facilities, realizing that gas is critically important for us and we need the entire gas transportation system, gas production, and storage facilities to function normally. We are also accumulating equipment for quick repairs because we understand that there may be damage," said Hrynchuk.

At the same time, she added that Ukraine is doing its best to protect the gas infrastructure.

"We are trying our best to protect the gas infrastructure today. The situation with the gas industry is stable and we are doing everything possible to ensure that we have adequate reserves to prepare for the winter, which will be enough to get us through the heating season and the winter," the Deputy Energy Minister emphasized.
