The Russians hit the civilian infrastructure of the Sumy region

Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the Yampil community of the Sumy region, as a result of which a 29-year-old man was injured.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on April 16, 2024, at around 3:00 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers carried out an airstrike on the territory of the Yampil community of the Shostka district," the post reads.
It is noted that as a result of the enemy attack, a 29-year-old businessman was injured, and the property of two private enterprises was damaged, in particular industrial premises and a vehicle.
It is specified that prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, document the consequences of shelling.
