This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the White House website.

According to the report, the United States will begin the occasional deployment of long-range firepower of its task force in Germany in 2026. This will be done as part of the planning for the long-term deployment of these assets in the future.

In particular, the SM-6, Tomahawk, and hypersonic weapons under development will be deployed, which have a much longer range than current ground-based firepower in Europe.

"The deployment of these advanced capabilities will demonstrate the United States' commitment to NATO and its contribution to Europe's integrated deterrence," the statement said.
