The whole world needs a fair end to the war in Ukraine

President of Finland Sauli Niinistö believes that a just end to the war is necessary not only for Ukrainians, as Ukraine's victory can help reduce tensions around the world.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Sauli Niinistö's speech at the UN General Assembly.
The Finnish leader believes that Russia's war against Ukraine concerns the whole world, both from a practical point of view and in terms of principles, because it has serious global consequences. He noted that the international community cannot allow this war to turn into a long-term conflict.
"The war in Ukraine should not turn into one of the many protracted conflicts we see in the world today. It is in the interest of all of us to achieve a peace that respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It must be objective," Niinistö said.
The President of Finland added that he and his country support Ukraine's efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.
