Ukrainian intelligence has already recorded 11,000 North Korean troops in the Kursk region. Their number in the region is increasing.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening address of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state said that he had been briefed by the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service.
“As for the North Korean military in Russia, there are already 11 thousand in the Kursk region. We see an increase in the number of North Koreans and no increase in the reaction of our partners, unfortunately,” Zelenskyy said.
He also reminded that it will soon be 3 months since the start of the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region. Ukrainian defenders keep the “sanitary zone” near the border under control.
The President emphasized that the Kursk operation had greatly helped to free the defenders from Russian captivity.
