Three Russian agents discovered at Yavoriv training ground
At the Yavoriv training ground in Lviv region, two servicemen and a nurse who were stationed in different units on its territory and collected valuable information, which they then passed on to the enemy, were exposed. This was reported by the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Western Region.
It is reported that Russian special services recruited the suspects for the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The agents were collecting information about the location of individual units of Ukrainian defenders at the training ground, the results of international military cooperation, visits by the military and political leadership of Ukraine, as well as the deployment of combat units and the deployment of military equipment.
The detainees were served a notice of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law in accordance with Article 111, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Preliminary investigations are underway and other persons allegedly involved in the crime are being investigated.
