During a closed-door meeting with representatives of the Republican Party in the Capitol on June 13, Donald Trump criticized American aid to Ukraine and called for lower taxes on tips and support for trade tariffs.

This was reported by the participants of the meeting, Reuters reports.

At the closed-door meeting, the former US president said he would work to expand the Republican majority in the House of Representatives and urged his fellow party members to abandon internal strife.

Trump also spoke about specific policy steps, including calling for the abolition of the federal abortion ban, lowering taxes on tip income to win the votes of service workers, and supporting tariffs to protect the US steel industry.
