Trump offers Musk a position if he becomes president

Donald Trump has said that if he wins the US presidential election, he will offer Elon Musk a position. He wants to create a commission on government efficiency.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters.

According to Trump, he will create a government efficiency commission headed by billionaire Elon Musk. He also said that Musk had agreed to head this body.

Trump did not disclose details on how the commission would work, except to say that it would develop a plan to eliminate “fraud and improper payments” within six months of its creation.

“I will create a commission on government efficiency tasked with conducting a full financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and recommending radical reforms,” Trump said.

It is worth noting that earlier Musk himself spoke about the conversation with Trump and the fact that the businessman is interested in working in this body.

“I look forward to serving America if the opportunity arises. I don't need a salary, a title, or recognition,” Musk said.
